II RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE ORANGE COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION The Board o£ Commissioners for Orange County, North Carolina, met in regular session at the Commissioner's Room at the County Courthouse in Hillsborough, North Carolina, the regular place of repeting at 10:00 A. M on February 5 ~ 1979 Present: Chairman, Richard E. Whitted, presiding, and Commissioners Norman Gustaveson, Don Willhoit, Anne Barnes, and Norman lJalker Absent : None j HE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners fox Orange County: Section I. In order to plan for, evaluate, strengthen and coordinate the activities and functions of the many and. varied human service efforts existing within Orange County, a need exists to establish the ORANGE COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES ADVI50RY I COMMISSION. Section II. The COMMISSION shall function in an advisory capacity providing counsel to the agencies, commissions, and othe entities within the County which provide funding for human services. It is hoped that this advice and counsel will assist and encourage effective delivery of these services to the people of Orange County in the most resource-efficient manner. Section III. There is hereby created and established the ORANGE COUNTY HUMAN SERVxCES ADVISORY`COMMISSION. Section IV. The COMMISSION is charged with the continuing responsibility to: A.
