~~~ <br />Agenda Item 3: Rabies Vaccination Program <br />Mr. Carl Lloyd, President of the Orange County Farm Bureau, requested <br />the Board reinstate the county's rabies vaccination program. Commissioner <br />Willhoit suggested Mr. Lloyd attend the Board of Health's meeting on <br />February 8th, as the Board of Health would be discussing this item and <br />would be making a recommendation to the Board of Gommissioners after the meeting. <br />Agenda Item 4: Office Space in Chapel Hill <br />The Honorable Stanley Peele and Mr. Harold Rogerson; Chief Court Counselor, <br />requested the Board provide office space for certain district court personnel.. <br />which Jim Webb has available for rent in Chapel Hill. <br />Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, to <br />authorize the rental space requested in Chapel Hill for district court <br />;:~> <br />personnel and requested the Finance Officer prepare a budget amendment to <br />provide funding for this rental space. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br />Agenda Item 5: Back Creek Reservior Watershed Critical <br />Area Treatment Project <br />Mr. William Breeze and Mr. Bob Tennant requested the Board endorse <br />a proposal for special funds to expand conservation work at the Back Creek <br />Reservoir Watershed Critical Area Treatment Project. For copy of this <br />proposal, see page 128 of this book. <br />Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, the <br />Board of Commissioners endorse this proposal. Vote: ayes, .5; noes, O. <br />Agenda Item 6: Lees Chanel Road Partici atin Pavin Petition <br />Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, to <br />defer Rufus Poteat's request that a petition be filed for the paving of °. <br />Lees Chapel Road, in Cedar'Grove Township, to the staff for clarification. <br />Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. The Staff is to natfy~Mr. Potent of apnrooriat~ <br />action. <br />Agenda Item 9: Ordinance add Reso utipn to Create a <br />ec eat on an ar s Counc o ran a ouni:~ _. <br />Mr. Bab Strayhorn, Chairman of the Orange County Recreation AdVlsory Council; <br />announced that the Advisory Council had withdrawn its support of the ordinance <br />due to the alterations and amendments made by the County Commissioners on <br />January 22nd. <br />
