M., on the <br />5th day of February 19 79 . <br />• Present: Chairman Richard E. Whitted and Commissioners <br />Anne Barnes, Don alillhoit, Norman Walker and Norman Gustaveson <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following resolution was read to the Bcard: <br />PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT RESOLiJTION FOR THE FINANCING <br />BY ORANGE COi7NTX OF THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COSTS OF <br />PAVING NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1819, ALSO KNOWN <br />A5 ADAM'S PLACE, NORTH GAROLINA STATE ROAD #1820, <br />ALSO KNOWN AS JEFFERSON DRIVE, NORTH CAROLINA STATE <br />ROAD #1821, ALSO KNOWN AS WASHINGTON DRIVE, AND NORTH <br />CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1822, ALSO KNOWN A5 KENNEDY <br />CIRCLE, IN ENO TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH <br />CAROLINA. <br />WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange <br />County has received a petition requesting the paving of North <br />Carolina State Road #1819, also known as Adam's Place, North <br />Carolina State Road #1820, also known as Jefferson Drive, North <br />Carolina State Road #1821, also known as Washington Drive, and <br />North=-Carolina State Road #1822, also known as Kennedy Circle, <br />in Eno Township, Orange Ceunty, North Carolina, which petition <br />has been signed by at least seventy-five percent (7S~) of the <br />owners of property adjoining the said roads, which property <br />represents at least seventy-five percent (75$) of the lineal <br />feet of frontage of the lands abutting the said roads, pursuant <br />to North Carolina General Statute §153A-205(c)p and <br />WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange <br />County has elected to finance the local share of the costs <br />'" of paving the said roads, as .permitted by North Carolina General <br />Statute §153A-185(4) and as provided for in North <br />Carolina General Statute 5153A-20S(a). <br />C.OLEb1AN.
