The total <br />funds requested is $171,730 and we feel that there should be a requirement that <br />all conservation practices must be installed in a period of one year or funds <br />would be obligated to someone e1 se. <br />8. USDA Technical Assistance and Other Funds or Pro rams that will be Used <br />tv Im lament the Project <br />=.~. :.-...,.~To meet.the objective of this project, farmers who want to be involved • . <br />. must be cooperators of the Orange 5oi1 and Water Conservation District. With <br />the assistance of all local agencies - ASCS, SCS, NCFS, Extension Service and <br />other loco] agencies, a conservation plan will be developed for the protection <br />and maintenance of all practices to be cost_shared. Farmers will be responsible <br />• ~ for performing operation and maintenance.
