Orange County Board of Commissioners Planning Retreat <br />November 14, 2009, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. <br />Southern Human Services Building, Chapel Hill, NC <br />Planning Retreat Agenda <br />Participants: Board of commissioners, manager, clerk, and attorney. <br />Observers: Assistant managers, interested staff, and economic development advisory board <br />members. Other interested parties are welcome to attend and observe. <br />Objectives: <br />1. Describe the current financial realities and identify areas of constraint and flexibility <br />for FY 2009 -2010 <br />2. Review the results and potential impacts of the early retirement program on <br />organizational direction and capacity. <br />3.
