816 <br /> <br />AGENDA ATTACHh1ENT I <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Orange County board of Commissioners has requested the <br />North Carolina Department of Transportation to provide eighty-two <br />percent (82%) of the cost of the following public-transportation-_ =-_.;-. __. :-., <br />project: <br />Orange County Human Services Transportation Studies at an estimated <br />cost of $16,500, of which the non-State cost amounts to eighteen percent <br />(18%); and, <br />4;HEREAS, Orange County desires to provide the non-State cost of the above <br />described public transportation praject; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Orange <br />County Board of Commissioners be and is hereby authorized and empowered <br />to enter into a contract with the Department of Transparation as may be <br />necessary to effectuate the aforesaid expressed purpose, thereby binding <br />the said Orange County to the fulfillment of its obligations incurred under <br />said contract and this resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />
