809 Commissioner Willhoit asked what JOCCA was doing to aid the project. Nls. Woolly said JOCCA conducted the original survey of about one-half of the residents. She said JOCCA also had staff willing to give technical assistance and complete two FHA loans a day. She said they would go to the homes and walk the residents through each phase. Agenda Ttem 12: Status Report on Erosi6n Control at Stagecoach Run Sub ivision The Erosion Control Officer reported Mr. Davis, owner of this subdivision, had not completed .the di,.tches. at this,ti:me. He thought. Mr. Davis was not able to complete the necessary work because of bad weather. He said the Board may want to defer action until the next meeting. Commissioner Whitted asked this item be placed on the agenda for January 2nd. He said the last grant was a 21 month grant received October 1 last year. LEAH found out the grant had to be coincidental with the fiscal year. He said this is the final year of the grant. Commissioner Gustaveson said he would like to have a full report on the first year's operation to find oui: whether it has met goals and expectations. Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit, to authorize Board acceptance of a grant of $40,599 far the Orange County Shelter Home from North Carolina Department of Crime Control and Public Safety.
