Foushee, and <br /> Commissioners Alice M. Gordon, Barry Jacobs, Pam Hemminger, Mike Nelson, <br /> Bernadette Pelissier, and Steve Yuhasz <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: John Roberts <br /> COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: Interim County Manager Frank Clifton, Assistant County <br /> Managers Willie Best and Gwen Harvey, and Clerk to the Board Donna S. Baker (All <br /> other staff members will be identified appropriately below) <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Anne <br /> Medenbleck, Vice-Chair Tony McKnight, and Board members Eddie Eubanks, Debbie <br /> Piscitelli, Ted Triebel, and Susan Hallman. Superintendent Patrick Rhodes was also <br /> present. <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBERS ABSENT: Steve Halkiotis <br /> CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO CITY SCHOOL BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBERS <br /> PRESENT: Chair Lisa Stuckey and Board Members Jamezetta Bedford, Mia Day <br /> Burroughs, Jean Hamilton, Gregory McElveen, and Superintendent Neil Pedersen was <br /> also present. <br /> CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO CITY SCHOOL BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBERS <br /> ABSENT: Vice Chair Mike Kelley and Annetta Streater <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:07pm by Commissioner Foushee. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Hemminger to amend the agenda by adding an item, "Stimulus Funding for <br /> Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program Award." <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program Award <br /> The Board considered accepting a Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re- <br /> Housing Program award of$1 million, authorizing the execution of the associated State <br /> Contract and a sub-recipient contract with Housing for New Hope by the Chair of the <br /> Board of County Commissioners upon contract review and approval by the County <br /> Attorney's office. <br /> Frank Clifton said that the County has been awarded a $1 million grant for this <br /> program. <br />
