Recognition of Pink Campaign Sponsors <br /> The Board recognized local business partners who were major contributors with <br /> donations of money, goods, or services to promote Breast Cancer Awareness through the <br /> Emergency Services Pink Campaign. <br /> Emergency Services Director Frank Montes de Oca said that October is Breast Cancer <br /> Awareness Month and EMS has decided to be more visible. He said that there has been a <br /> team that has put together this campaign — Doris Cecil, Kim Butler, Kim Woodward, and Lori <br /> Buche. Through the month of October, the field staff and the staff at headquarters will be <br /> wearing pink in some form. He said that a lot of businesses in the community donated <br /> services, funds, and products to total about $3,000 so that no County funds would be spent. <br /> He recognized these businesses: <br /> Total Exposures — hats and design work <br /> Eurosport— shirts and logos <br /> PHE, Inc. - $1,000 donation <br /> Carolina Recording Systems - $250 donation <br /> Mincy's Graphics — logos on staff vehicles <br />
