8 <br />contributions lost due to furloughs must be reported to the Retirement Systems Division within <br />90 days of the beginning of the period in which the compensation and contributions will be <br />included. <br />SECTION 3. Section 2 of this act is effective when it becomes law and applies to <br />local government furloughs on and after January 1, 2009, and before July 1, 2010.
