Carrboro High School <br /> Capital Project Ordinance <br />INFORMATION CONTACT: <br />Donna Coffey, (919) 245-2151 <br />PURPOSE: To approve budget, capital and grant project ordinance amendments for fiscal year <br />2007-08. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />1. Department on Aging <br />The Department on Aging has received additional revenue for the following programs: <br />• University Mall Walk -funds totaling $3,500 from UNC Healthcare ($3,000) and <br />Performance Auto ($500) to support the University Mall Walk Program sponsored by <br />the department. These funds will cover the breakfasts served at the Mall Walks each <br />month. <br />• Community Alternatives Program (CAP) -Medicaid reimbursement funds of $12,242. <br />The department plans to use these funds to purchase equipment related to the <br />Eldercare- program. This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these funds for <br />the above stated purpose. <br />
