She said that there <br /> are 10 areas to name. <br /> Commissioner Gordon asked about the adequacy of the $30,000 <br /> payment for the whole complex to be called Eurosport Center and Lori Taft said <br /> that is what they could get. She said that there might be a higher value placed <br /> on it once Buckhorn Village comes to fruition. She thinks that it is very <br /> generous of Sports Endeavors to offer this because it is for the community and <br /> Eurosport is a worldwide organization. <br /> Commissioner Jacobs agreed with Lori Taft that it is a community- <br /> minded effort by Sports Endeavors since this is an Orange County business. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by <br /> Commissioner Yuhasz to approve the partnership with Sports Endeavors and <br /> the name Eurosport Soccer Center for the next five years. Further, the Board <br /> authorizes partnerships that may be established within the next few months for <br /> the naming rights of individual facilities within the Center and authorizes the <br /> Chair to sign associated contracts or agreements pending review by the County <br /> Attorney. <br /> VOTE: Ayes, 6; No, 1 (Commissioner Nelson) <br /> hh. Contract to Prepare an Indirect Cost Plan <br /> The Board considered a contract with Maximus for preparation of a <br /> Cost Allocation Plan and authorizing the Chair to sign <br /> Commissioner Gordon said that this is the indirect cost plan that is put <br /> in place for grants. She had brought this up in the past about when the county <br /> billed for indirect costs and she asked Financial Services Director Gary <br /> Humphreys to confirm that the methodology could be used for all indirect costs. <br /> She asked if the County could routinely start charging indirect costs where it is <br /> appropriate. <br /> Gary Humphreys said that the indirect cost plan distributes costs to all <br /> departments. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by <br /> Commissioner Nelson to approve the three-year contract with Maximus for a <br /> cost allocation plan and authorize the Chair to sign, and to direct staff to start <br /> charging indirect costs in any cases where it is deemed appropriate. <br /> VOTE: Ayes, 6; No, 0 (Commissioner Jacobs was not in the room) <br /> Laura Blackmon said that the issue of indirect costs is on the list for <br /> discussion in the fall. <br /> 5.
