23 <br />Attachment 2p <br />Greenways Project <br />Capital Project Ordinance <br />Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section <br />13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project <br />ordinance is hereby adopted. <br />Section 1. The project authorized provides funds for the development of Greenways throughout <br />the County. Budgeted 2001 Bond Funds are being transferred to the Southern <br />Community Park project ($925,000) and Bolins Creek project ($75,000) for this <br />purpose. (Note- $425,000 shown as from other projects is 2001 Bond Funds from <br />the Homestead Aquatics project) <br />Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within the <br />total budget contained herein. <br />Section 3. The following revenue is anticipated to complete this project. <br /> FY 2007/08 Amendment FY2008/09 <br />2001 Bonds $1,325,000 $575,000 $750,000 <br />From Other Pro'ects 425,000 425,000 <br />2l3rds Bonds 33,426 33,426 <br />Total $1,750,000 $966,574 $783,426 <br />Section 4. The following amount is appropriated for this project. <br /> FY 2007/08 Amendment FY2008/09 <br />Contribution to Carrboro $750,000 750,000 <br />Transfer to other projects 1,000,000 (1,000,000) <br />Construction $783,426 $783,426 <br />Total $1,750,000 $966,574 $783,426 <br />Section 5. This ordinance supersedes any previous Capital Project Ordinances for this project. <br />Section 6. This ordinance shall remain in effect the Board of County Commissioners takes <br />action to amend the ordinance or close the project ordinance upon completion of <br />the project. <br />Adopted this 16th day of June 2009. <br />
