RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, Orange County, under the provisions of the Compre- <br />hensive Employment and Training Act of 1973, entered <br />into a contract establishing a Consortium far the <br />purpose o1' implementing the Comprehensive Employment <br />and Training Act of 1973; and <br />I4HEREAS, Under the providions of said Contract, Durham-Orange <br />Employment and Training Service is charged with the <br />responsibility of providing job training and employ-- <br />ment opportunities fox economically disadvantaged, <br />unemployed and under--employed persons, and to insure <br />that training and other sexvices lead to maximum <br />employment opportunities; and <br />in7HEREAS, On September 30, 1978, the Durham-Orange Employment <br />and Training Consortium.
