Su ortin De artment s : Environment and Resource Conservation <br />Parks and Recreation <br />A in Oran a Public Trans ortation <br />Economic Develo ment <br />Adviso Boards <br />Oran e Unified Trans ortation Board <br />Plannin Board <br />Pur ose: <br />The CTP provides guidance for selecting projects to implement transportation goals/objectives (for selecting <br />ro~ects to be funded in the Trans ortation Im rovement Pro ram throu h various fundin mechanisms . <br />Im lementation Strate /Action Plan: <br />To develop along-range multi-modal plan to serve present and future travel demand in Orange County by <br />mapping existing facilities, facilities that need improvement, and recommended new facilities/alignments for <br />hi hwa s, ublic trans ortation and rail, bic cles, and edestrians. <br />Fiscal Im act: <br />The Comprehensive Transportation Plan will require planning staff resources and material costs for maps for <br />the ublic outreach meetin sand co ies of the CTP Surve . <br />'' Public Involvement Process: <br />The schedule proposes a public workshop the last week in September with a public comment period through <br />December. The CTP Committee and the Orange Unified Transportation Board (OUTBoard) will use the public <br />input and comment from the Planning Board, the Economic Development Commission, the Commission for the <br />Environment, and the Transportation Services Board to develop a draft CTP, which will be presented at a <br />second public workshop in February.
