Several counties use <br />third party agencies to pursue these billings. Knowing what <br />insurance companies are doing elsewhere in NC is helpful when <br />attempting to resolve billing disputes and pursuing third party <br />payments. <br />There is need to address HoteUMotel tax collections and ensure <br />uniform enforcement. Chapel Hill collects its own I~aVI tax. A <br />program of routine audits to ensure appropriate taxes are <br />collected and remitted to local governments should be in place. <br />There are firms that can perform these services for the county. <br />Signage for the County's offices in the new facility needs to be <br />pursued.
