. -~ , tom. ~J NORTH CAROLINA ORANGE COUPITY RESOLUTION WHEREAS, individual members of, the Hoard of Orange ;.~. ~i Caunty Commissioners have been named individually as Defendants in a civil action entitled Lake Forest Association, Inc., et. al. vs. Real Estate Properties of Chapel. Hill, znc., et. al.; and WHEREAS, the pleadings in the said action seek monetary damages from the Defendants; and WHEREAS, the allegations related to the individual members of the Orange County Board of Commissioners state a claim against them in their governmental capacity, if a claim is stated lat all. zT YS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the Orange County Hoard Hof Commissioners that Orange Caunty will provide a defense to each Commissioner in the said civil action and further, Orange County will indemnify each individual commissioner for any damages against each. resulting from this civil action: :...-This resolution provides far the defense and indemnification of Commissioner Norman Gustaveson, Commissioner Jan Pinney, Commissioner Norman S~7alker, Commissioner Richard Whitted and Commissioner Donald :aillhoit.
