0 <br />Central/Northern Orange Senior Center <br />Capital Project Ordinance <br />Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to <br />Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following <br />capital project is hereby adopted. <br />Section 1. The project authorized provides funds to renovate the existing SportsPlex <br />facility to accommodate a fifteen thousand square feet CentrallNorthern <br />Orange Senior Center addition. The planned center will replace the <br />Central Orange Senior Center currently located in teased space at the <br />Meadowlands in Hillsborough. Proceeds from the 2001 voter approved <br />bonds, a contribution from Carol Woods Retirement Community, and <br />private placement loans from the General Fund and the SportsPlex <br />Enterprise Fund finance the project. <br />Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project <br />within the budget contained herein. <br />Section 3. The following revenue is anticipated to complete this project: <br /> Through FY <br />2007-08 <br />FY 2008-09 Through FY <br />2008-09 <br />Sales Tax $0 $0 $0 <br />2001 Bonds $2,000,000 $0 $2,000,000 <br />Alternative Financin $4,000,000 $0 $4,000,000 <br />Fees $0 $0 $0 <br />Carol Woods Contribution $125,000 $0 $125,000 <br />Transfer from Facilities Arts <br />Reserve Capital Project (FY <br />2008-09) <br /> <br />$0 <br /> <br />$5,000 <br /> <br />$5,000 <br />Total Fundin $6,125,000 $5,000 $6,130,000 <br />Section 4.
