Approval of Continuation of Contract with OPC <br /> The Board approved the contract renewal with Orange-Person-Chatham Local Management <br /> Entity for a part-time liaison to assist clients of Social Services to access needed mental health <br /> services and authorized the Chair to sign contingent upon approval of the Orange County FY <br /> 2009-10 budget. <br /> I. Renewal of Contract with UNC Hospitals for DSS to Provide Medicaid Workers <br /> The Board approved the contract renewal of the contract for income maintenance staff at UNC <br /> Hospitals and authorized the Chair to sign contingent upon approval of the Orange County FY <br /> 2009-10 budget. <br /> m. Renewal of Contract for Social Work Services Between Orange County Schools and <br /> Orange County Department of Social Services <br /> The Board approved renewal of the contract between the Orange County Schools and the <br /> Orange County Department of Social Services for the provision of eight Department of Social <br /> Services positions and related supervision to provide social work and case management <br /> services in the schools and authorized the Chair to sign contingent upon approval of the <br /> Orange County FY 2009-10 budget. <br /> n. Fiscal Year 2008-09 Budget Amendment #8 <br /> The Board approved budget and grant project ordinance amendments for FY 2008-09 for <br /> Social Services, Solid Waste Department, Planning, Arts Commission, Department on Aging, <br /> and Commissioners' Contingency. <br /> o. 2010 Census Complete Count Committee <br /> The Board approved creation of a Complete County Committee, authorized a letter of <br /> invitation, approved a resolution to promote the 2010 Census and approved the "sun-setting" <br /> of the Committee in May 2010. <br />
