SECTION 3 -- New Ideas — Ongoing Comp Plan Continued 21 <br />Attachment 5.3 <br />Department and conveyed along with a summary, "State of the <br />Comprehensive Plan" report); and <br />Developed a table or "matrix" that identifies all of the linkages among Plan <br />goals and objectives on a single sheet. This matrix will be used in the <br />future to identify areas for coordination and can be color coded to <br />distinguish objectives that are being addressed through current <br />implementation actions from those that are not or may already be <br />complete. <br />Proposed Next Steps <br />Following are proposed next steps towards the first status report to the BOCC: <br />September — Departments and advisory boards complete reporting forms and <br />return to Comprehensive Planning Division <br />October - Planning to compile completed forms and prepare a State of the <br />Comprehensive Plan Report <br />November — Planning presents State of the Comprehensive Plan report to the <br />BOCC, which may include information that is helpful going into BOCC planning <br />retreat(s) that occur later in the year and /or early the next year. This would also <br />be an opportunity for the BOCC to provide feedback to improve future reports. <br />Post - Months — Upon BOCC request, a process for developing specific and <br />measurable Comprehensive Plan evaluation criteria can be developed for its <br />consideration. <br />
