M., on the <br />2pth day of September , 1977 . <br />Pzesent: Commissioners Richard TVhitted, Norman <br />Gustaveson, Jan Pinney, Norman Walker and Donald Willhoit <br />Absent: None <br />sr~*:r~~r*x~a~~r*~r~r***~r***************~~**~~*~**~e**~e~r~r*~r*****~a*~r*~r~t~t* <br />The fallowing resolution was read to the Board: <br />PRELIMINARY ASSE5SMENT RESOLUTION FOR THE FINANCING <br />BY ORANGE COUNTY OF THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COSTS OF <br />PAVING NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1819, ALSO KNOWN <br />AS ADAM'S PLACE, NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1$20, <br />ALSO KNOWN AS JEFFERSON DRIVE, NORTH CAROLINA STATE <br />ROAD #1821, ALSO KNOWN AS WASHINGTON DRIVE~AND NORTH <br />CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1822, ALSO KNOWN AS KENNEDY <br />CIRCLE., IN ENO TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA. <br />WHEREAS the Soard of County Commissioners of Orange <br />WINSTON. COLEMAN <br />& AERNNOLZ <br />ATTORNQVS qT LAW <br />eNAPeL N~L4 N. G <br />MLA-SBDROUGN. N. G i <br />County has received a petition requesting the paving of North <br />Carolina State Road.#1819, also known as Adam's Place, North <br />Carolina State Road #1820, also known as Jefferson Drive, North <br />Carolina State Road #1$21, also known as Washington Drive, and <br />North Carolina State Road #1822, also known as Kennedy Circle, <br />in Eno Township, Orange County, North Carolina, which petition <br />has been signed by at least seventy-five percent (75~) of the <br />owners of property adjoining the said roads, which property <br />represents at least seventy-five percent (75~) of the lineal <br />feet of frontage of the lands abutting the said roads, <br />pursuant to North Carolina General Statute §153A-205(c); and <br />WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange <br />County hasr elected to finance the local share of the costs <br />of paving the said roads ,. as•perrnitted by North Carolina General <br />Statute §153A-185(4) and as provided for in North Carolina <br />General Statute §153A-Z05(a); <br />IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT: <br />1. Orange County shall undertake financing of the local <br />share of paving North Carolina State Road #1819, also known as <br />
