County Manaaer's Resort <br />Laura Blackmon said that the Farmers' Market mediation contract is for 10 hours with <br />Andy Sachs, and he thought they may need more time. This contract may come back to the <br />Board for an extension. <br />Laura Blackmon said that she interviewed candidates for Financial Services Director <br />position all day today. The Emergency Services Director position is closing on December 14tH <br />10. Appointments <br />a. Arts Commission -New Appointment <br />The Board considered making a new appointment to the Arts Commission. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Carey to <br />appoint Charles Hochman to the Arts Commission. <br />VOTE UNAIMOUS <br />b. Carrboro Board of Adjustment -New Appointment <br />The Board considered making a new appointment to the Carrboro Board of Adjustment. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Foushee, seconded by Commissioner Nelson to <br />appoint John Gant to the Carrboro Board of Adjustment with an expiration date of February 28, <br />2010. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />c. Commission for Women -New Appointments <br />The Board considered making new appointments to the Commission for Women. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Carey to <br />appoint Rae Buckley (Position #4- Chapel Hill Township) with an expiration date of June 30, <br />2009; April Ray (Position # 1, Non- Chapel Hill/Hillsborough Township) with an expiration date <br />of June 30, 2010; and Shannon Jackson (Position # 15- Non -Chapel Hill/Hillsborough <br />Township) with an expiration date of June 30, 2009. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />d. Local Revenue Options Education Advisory Committee <br />The Board considered making appointments to the Local Revenue Options Education <br />Advisory Committee. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Foushee to <br />appoint David Brower to the Environmental Community position. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />A motion was made by Chair Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Foushee to appoint <br />Robbin Taylor-Hall to the realtor position. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />11.
