,~ <br />Orange County water supply reservoir water levels <br />Available information as of 3:00 PM, Thursday, November 1, 2007: <br />Lake Orange <br />• Water level is at 84" below full. <br />• Water storage capacity remaining is approximately 42.1 % (135 million gallons) <br />• Approximately 75 days of water supply remaining (at Capacity Use specified release <br />rate). We are currently releasing less than the Capacity Use specified rate, due to <br />Hillsborough's extra release and the drastic reduction in withdrawals by Orange- <br />Alamance and Piedmont Minerals. <br />• We are currently in Stage 4 of the Eno River Capacity Use Agreement. Stage 5 is <br />triggered once the Lake drops to 89" below full. <br />West Fork Reservoir (as of October 25, 2007) <br />• Water level is at 62" below full. <br />• Water storage capacity remaining is approximately 67.6%. <br />• Approximately 220 days of water supply are remaining (assuming Town's current daily <br />demand and releases for streamflow augmentation) <br />• Hillsborough is currently releasing approximately 1.3 million gallons per day more than <br />they are required.
