The
Cabe - Pratt- Harris House, also known as Riverbend Farm, is a National
Register - eligible property located on the west side of Pleasant Green Road, just
north of the Eno River.
This nomination will be considered by the North Carolina National Register
Advisory Committee at a meeting on January 14, 1999 in Raleigh. Preceding
this meeting is a 60 -day review - and - comment period, which began on
November 16.
As a participant in the Certified Local Governments Program administered by
the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), the County is afforded the
opportunity to review and comment on all National Register nominations
1 The report was delivered by Margaret Hauth, Planning Director for the Town of Hillsborough. The State
Historic Preservation Office sent the report to the Town of Hillsborough in error, mistakenly believing that
the Town and the Hillsborough Historic District Commission were the CLG entities involved.
