9 <br />5. GENERAL ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION <br />This structure was built in the late 1920's as a community <br />school. In the early 1950's, the building was converted into a <br />private residence. The covered porch was added at this time. <br />The one - and -a -half story structure is two rooms wide and <br />four rooms long and features three gabled dormer windows <br />on the front facade, with the middle being a double window. <br />There are two front doors, six - over -six double -hung <br />windows, gable returns on the gable sides, and the house is <br />sheathed in novelty siding. The attached porch is one story <br />in height and covers a third of the front (east) facade and <br />wraps around half of the south facade. <br />
