NORTH CAROLINA <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br />RESOLUT~CON <br />WHEREAS,pursuant to N. C. Gen. Stat. §69-25.11 an application <br />has been submitted to the Board of Commissioners of Orange Cvunt~ <br />for inclusion of territory in the SOUTH ORANGE FIRE DISTRICT, <br />which territory is described more particularly in a copy of the <br />application which is attached to this Resolution and made a part <br />of this Resolution, and <br />WHEREAS, as required by N. C. Gen. Stat. 69-25.11, the. said <br />application has been signed by a majarit~ of the property owners <br />of the territory to be included in the SOUTH ORANGE FIRE DISTEtIC.y: <br />I <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Garrboro Eire Department provides fire protectio_ <br />for the existing SOUTH ORANGE FIRE DISTRICT; and <br />WHEREAS, as required b_y N. C. Gen. Stat. X69-25.11, the <br />Board of Aldermen of the Town of Garrboro, acting as the IIoard <br />of Directors of the Garrboro Fire Department, has approved the <br />application far inclusion; and <br />WHEREAS, as required bV N. C. Gen. Stat. §69-25.11, notice <br />has been duly given of the fact that the Orange County Commis- <br />sioners would consider the aforesaid application on June 21, <br />1977, which notice invited citizens to appear at this rmeetina; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the 3aard of County Commissioners thinks there is <br />a need for inclusion of the proposed territory into the SOUTH <br />ORANGE FIRE DISTRICT: and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has c{iven all <br />interested citizens an opportunity to be heard at this meeting; <br />IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED that the application for inclusion <br />of territory inte the SOUTH ORANGE FIRE DISTRICT is hercbv <br />approved. <br />WINSTON, COLEMAN II <br />AND 6ERNMOLZ <br />ATTOpNEYS AT LAW <br />CHAPEL HALL, N.
