262 <br />Commissioner Gustaveson proposed that $20,000 be cut from the Chapel <br />Hill capital outlay. Deduct $5,000 from the Cazrboro Liba:axy and the <br />balance stands at $4,564. <br />Chairman Whitted proposed that $15,000 be added to the Chapel Hill <br />Municipal Support Recreation Budget, in lieu of the proposed $36,000. <br />Commissioner Gustaveson suggested that the Health budget be looked at <br />again and that some add be added to this budget. <br />Commissioner Walker proposed that $50,000 be added to the County°s <br />Capital Outlay budget. - <br />Commissioner Gustaveson stated that he would agree tc the add--on if <br />the Board would agree to another 1 cent tax increase. <br />Commissioner Pinney offer this proposal. He asked that the Board <br />go back to the $19,564 figure, after Mr. Whitted had added $15,000 to <br />Municipal Support. He suggested that $30,000 be added to the County <br />School's Capital Outlly, which will give a total of $49,564. He suggested <br />that $10,000 be taken from personnel, and that if the Town of Mebane pro- <br />vided $40,000, this would provide for the passing of the 1977-7$ budget. <br />Commissioner Gustaveson proposed to add $15,000 to the fund balance <br />in the Health Department's budget, but this does not change the present <br />figures of the Board. <br />Commissioner Willhoit asked that the Board consider adding additional <br />monies in the areas of Planning and Recreation. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Gustaveson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Willhoit, it was moved and adopted that the Board go into executive session <br />to discuss salaries. <br />Executive Session ensued. <br />The meeting was then adjourned. <br />~ y~ .J. <br />~. -~'., <br />Richard E.
