L PIM? 9 <br />OBJECTIVE 3 — To review and update flexible development standards to achieve quality development , conservation and long term <br />preservation control. Flexible development standards were adopted in 1996. The standards provided four different schemes to be considered <br />during the subdivision process. The intent of the regulations has been distorted in various cases by development proposals and there is need to <br />`close the loopholes' and have the regulations redirect development towards the original intent. <br />OBJECTIVE 3A — Promote the inclusion of conservation areas within developments as part of a common area controlled by a responsible <br />Homeowners Association (HOA) to enhance enforceability. <br />DATE <br />TASKS/MILESTONES <br />TARGET FOR <br />ADOPTED <br />COMPLETION <br />BYBOCC <br />Review actual use of various flexible development proposals. <br />Mar 99 <br />Suggest revisions to ordinance to improve monitoring of conservation areas with Ordinance Review <br />Apr 99 <br />Committee <br />Present draft to Board of County Commissioners <br />Aug 99 <br />
