34. Kyoto Protocol means the protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention
<br />on Climate Change adopted at the Third. Conference of the Parties to the United Nations
<br />Framework Convention on Climate Change in Kyoto, Japan on December 11, 1997, as may be
<br />amended.
<br />35. Landfill means, collectively, the North Landfill and the South Landfill.
<br />36. Landfill Gas or LFG shall mean the gas (and its constituent. elements) generated
<br />from the decomposition of materials deposited in the Landfill.
<br />37. Landfill Permits means all licenses, permits, certifications, authorizations,
<br />approvals, and entitlements issued by any Governmental Authority and relating to the operation,
<br />ownership, development and/or maintenance of the Landfill, as all of the- foregoing may, from-
<br />time to time hereafter, be amended or supplemented, including, without limitation, Municipal
<br />Solid Waste Landfill Permit Number 68-01 issued to the County on or about May 5, 1982, as
<br />amended and as it may, from time to time hereafter, be further amended or supplemented.
<br />38. Laws means any law (including common law), statute,- treaty, ordinance, rule,
<br />regulation, code, order, writ, injunction, judicial decision, decree, reporting or licensing
<br />requirement or other legally binding requirement of any Governmental Authority and shall
<br />include, without limitation, all Enviroinnental Laws.
<br />39. LFG Collection System shall mean all equipment at the Landfill, including
<br />piping, header lines, lateral lines, wells, pumps, blowers, condensate laioclc-out vessels, flare,
<br />and related equipment used by the University to extract, collect, and treat Landfill Gas from the
<br />Landfill.
<br />40. LFG Project shall mean the LFG Collection System, the Gas Coxiversion
<br />System, and the Pipeline.
