36 <br />Village Mixed Use conditional use district or Office /Assembly <br />conditional use district) may not be made unless and until an <br />ordinance approving such zoning map amendment has been approved <br />both by Orange County and Carrboro following a joint public <br />hearing by the two governing bodies. See Exhibit B. <br />The amendments to the Joint Planning Agreement shall become <br />effective upon adoption by the governing bodies of Orange County, <br />Chapel Hill and Carrboro. <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FURTHER HEREBY RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />1. In order to implement certain Orange County Planning <br />Board recommendations, the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />recommends that the Carrboro Northern Study Area ordinance be <br />written so that the Northern Transition Area Advisory Committee: <br />a. have five members; <br />b. three of the five members be appointed by the <br />Orange County Board of Commissioners from among <br />citizens living and owning property in the <br />Carrboro Transition Area; <br />C. make periodic and regular reports to the Orange <br />County Board of Commissioners on the work being <br />done by the Committee; <br />d. be authorized and "created" in the Joint Planning <br />Area Land Use Plan (Facilitated Small Area Plan <br />for Carrboro's Transition Study Area). <br />2.
