<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pinney, seconded by Commissioner <br />Gustaveson, it was moved and adopted that Cloe A. Canada be appointed <br />to the Dogwood Acres Sanitary Board by acclamation. <br />Commissioner Walker asked if he could make an appointment to fill <br />the one vacancy on the County Planning Board. He nominated Mrs. Stewart <br />Barbour. <br />Donald Willhoit stated that he understood this appointment would be <br />made at a later time, howevex, he would like to nominate Hilliard Callwell. <br />Discussion ensued concerning the deferring of this appointment to the <br />Planning Board. The Board agreed to defer this item until the first <br />Monday in March. <br />Item 16: Commens regarding the budget forms previously submitted. <br />The Board reviewed the forms which the Finance Officer had submitted <br />concerning the forthcoming budget for 1977-78. Commissioner Gustaveson <br />recommended that an area for comments be made on the form. Other than <br />this change, the budget forms were accepted. <br />Chairman Whitted informed the Hoard that February 24, 1977, the <br />Miller Road Community Development Association with the North Carolina <br />Humanities Committee will present "Goals of Life", at Orange High School. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pinney, seconded by Commissioner Willhait, <br />the meeting was adjourned to meet again on T9ednesday, February 16, 1977, <br />at 9:30 p.m., at the Old Town Hall in Chapel Hill to continue+ discussion <br />of the District Health Department. ., - ~? <br />/' / ~ - <br />,. ~ ~ /, ~, ; I.. <br />VRicY~ard~ E.
