L.J. Rogers, Jr. Trucking <br />Company, Inc. has been in business at this location since 1975. C+m the <br />property are the Rogers general offices, dispatch facility, training and safety <br />operations, maintenance shops, outdoor storage of semi-traailers, and <br />parking for semi-tractors. The proposed zoning lot is located on the . <br />northwest side of NC 49 approximately 1,100' southwest of the intersection <br />of NC 49 and Corbett Ridge/Carr Store Roads. The 3.44a parcel is zoned <br />ARAgricultural-Residential. Rogers, Jr. Trucking Company has been in business on this site <br />for 23 years. With a gross income of over S7 million dollars in 1997, the. <br />company currently hires 68 employees including 55 drivers, 8 office staff, 3 <br />supply workers and 4 dispatchers.
