Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br />PUBLIC CHARGE <br />The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County its respect. 77~e Board asks its citizens to <br />conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with the Board and with fellow citizens. At any time <br />should any member of the Board or any citizen fail to observe this public charge, the Chair will ask the offending <br />person to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to be restored, the <br />Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine commitment to this public charge is observed. <br />3. BOARD COMMENTS (7:40-7:45) <br />4. Property Tax Refunds <br />The Board will consider seven requests for property tax refunds. <br />c. Advertisement of Tax Liens on Real Property for Failure to Pav Taxes <br />The Board will consider advertising liens on real property under North Carolina General Statute 105- <br />369 relative to $4.74 million in uncollected tax revenue for fiscal year 1998 <br />d. Computer Systems Support Outsourcing Agreement with Tri-Met <br />The Board will consider authorizing a computer support services agreement with Tri-Met for the <br />remainder of the 1998-99 fiscal year. <br />e.
