E,~ She brought to the job a particular knowledge of haw to govern which has enabled her to initiate numerous programs benefiting all the residents of the county. She brought to the job initiative and imagination which have transformed the role of Chairman of the Board and set a precedent for future leaders. She has brought to the job seemingly endless energy which allowed her to keep in constant touch with those she represented. She has brought to the job an ability to see beyond the immediate moment and to see beyond the narrow limits of our boundaries which has given Orange County a respected place in our region and state governments. She has brought to the job a concern for people which has oriented Orange County government toward service to the people for the good of all. She has brought to the job an integrity and professionalism which has engendered respect from all those she serves not only for herself but for the entire Board and entire county government. She leaves a legacy of abetter Orange County for all of us. Thank you, Flo, for your able and generous service to the County.
