263 <br />PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br />AUGUST 5,1998 <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Karen Barrows (Chair), Nell Andrews, S.A.M. Brooks, Howard McAdams, <br />Renee Price, Libby Searles, Jim Selkirk, Bob Strayhorn, Elizabeth Walters. <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: <br />Leo Allison, Barry Katz, Runyon Woods - all excused. <br />STAFF PRESENT: <br />Emily Cameron, Don Belk, Slade McCalip, Joanna Bradshaw. <br />AGENDA ITEM #2: <br />CONSIDERATION OF ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />Chair suggested that she felt it would be appropriate to send cards of <br />appreciation to Arnie Katz and Paul Hoecke for their service on the Planning <br />Board. The Board agreed and Chair indicated she would purchase cards for <br />members to sign. <br />AGENDA ITEM #3: APPROVAL OF MINUTES - July 15, 1998 <br />Barrows noted a correction on page 1, Board of Adjustment - sentence 3 should <br />read: By consensus, the Board approved the nomination of Renee Price as the <br />Planning Board representative on the Board of Adjustment. <br />Walters noted a correction on page 7, paragraph 3 sentence 9 - and should be <br />deleted. <br />Barrows noted a correction on page 10, paragraph 3, sentence 3 should read: <br />Large tracts of at least 50 to 60 acres should be relatively unconstrained <br />to consider the village option. <br />MOTION: McAdams moved approval with corrections. Seconded by Walters. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. <br />(Corrections have all been made.) <br />AGENDA ITEM #6: CHAIR COMMENTS <br />None. <br />AGENDA ITEM #7: COMMITTEE/ADVISORY BOARD REPORTS <br />a.
