The site has extended frontage on Law- <br />rence Road and limited frontage on Business US 70. <br />Current Conditions . <br />The subject site is about one -half fallow cropland (the western half) and about <br />one -half woodland, predominately deciduous. The cropland, visible from Law- <br />rence Road, is crossed in part by an intermittent stream bordered by trees extend- <br />ing about 20 feet to either side of the shallow channel. <br />Across Lawrence Road to the west are single - family homes . in the Colonial Hills <br />Subdivision (R -2 Zoning / one -half acre lots) and the Lawrence Road Baptist <br />Church. To the north of the site are homes on lots facing onto Business US 70. <br />These lots are Zoned R -1, but are of varied size and shape due to their original <br />subdivision which divided the land into strips of land 25 feet wide'by 400 feet <br />deep. <br />
