The Board usually considers items in the order listed and proceeds at a steady pace. As a courtesy to others, speakers are asked to limit their comments to three minutes. Matters not on the Printed Aaenda PUBLIC CHARGE The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County its respect. The Board asks ifs citizens to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with the Board and with fellow citizens. At any time should any member of the Board or any citizen fail to observe this public charge, the Chair will ask the offending person to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine commitment to this public charge is observed. 3. BOARD COMMENTS (7:40-7:45) 4. COUNTY MANAGER'S REPORT (7:45-7:50) 5. RESOLUTIONS/PROCLAMATIONS (7:50-8:00) a. Resolution on State Reorganization of Environmental Health Programs The Board will consider a resolution of support for keeping environmental health programs together in the Department of Health and Human Services b. Cooperative Extension 4-H Volunteer Leaders' Resolution of Appreciation The Board will consider a resolution recognizing Orange County Cooperative Extension Service 4-H volunteer leaders during national Volunteer Week, April 18-24, 1999. c. Proclamation for Red Cross Month The Board will consider proclaiming March as American Red Cross Month and recognizing the Orange County Red Cross chapter. 6. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS 7. PUBLIC HEARINGS 8. ITEMS FOR DECISION -CONSENT AGENDA (8:00-8:05) a. Minutes The Board will consider correction and/or approval of minutes from its Dec. 8, 1998 regular meeting. b. Waiver of Landfill Fees -Eno River Association The Board will consider a request from the Eno River Association to waive landfill disposal fees.
