As you are aware, we are not including a new middle school in our <br />CIP. However, we are in the process of building an elementary school and a <br />high school. All the indicators are pointing to rapid growth in the northern part of <br />the county. The two schools coming on line over the next three years will allow <br />us some room for growth, but currently our two middle schools, one at capacity <br />and the other over capacity, will not be affected by the new schools constructed <br />in our system. <br />I have included the latest student membership figures for our system. The <br />capacities for all our schools are listed as well. We will also share with you how <br />deceiving capacity numbers are today based on situations in our schools that <br />take up additional space for very few students and required programs. <br />/ha <br />Attachment <br />
