Resolution: Be it, therefore, resolved that the Board of Education accepts the report of <br />the Chapel Hill- Carrboro City Schools Task Force on Educational <br />Services for Limited English Proficient (LEP) Students with <br />implementation dependent on availability of funds. <br />Be it, further, resolved that the Board of Education intends to establish an <br />oversight committee as recommended in the report, and requests the <br />Superintendent to prepare a charge for the committee and a <br />recommendation for appointments for consideration by the Board. <br />Be it further resolved that the Board of Education requests that this report <br />be transmitted to other elected boards in Orange County for consideration <br />of the special needs of LEP students and their families. <br />
