Although a hearing is not required by state statute, the Board may wish to <br />consider using a portion of the regular meeting on Apri120, 1999 to conduct a public hearing on this <br />subject. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no direct financial impact from setting the public hearing date. <br />Citizen comments received at the public hearing will be considered during the Board's review of the <br />ten year capital plan during April and May, 1999. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board establish a public hearing <br />on the County's ten-year Capital Investment Plan for Tuesday, Apri120, 1999, at 7:30 pm in the <br />Southern Human Services Center in Chapel Hill. <br />
