Attach=ent O <br />22 <br />FSSC PROGRAM CONFIDENTIALITY <br />Both parties acknowledge that in exchanging, storing, processing, or otherwise dealing <br />with any information about referred clients, each is fully bound by the provisions of the <br />Federal regulations governing the confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse client records <br />(Title 42, CFR, Part 2). <br />Both parties undertake to institute appropriate procedures for safeguarding such <br />information with particular reference to client identifying information and to resist, in <br />judicial proceedings, any efforts to obtain access to information pertaining to FSSC <br />clients otherwise than as expressly provided for in the Federal regulations. <br />Releases will be signed by the FSSC client to allow an exchange of information between <br />FSSC and relevant agencies. Information to be exchanged will concern legal issues and <br />cooperation and compliance with the FSSC program or service provider treatment plan <br />and will not include personal nor psychological information revealed in treatment <br />sessions. <br />
