The Board of. Commissioners for the County of Orange, <br />North Carolina, met in regular session in the County Com- <br />mi.ssioner's Room of the Orange County Courthouse in Hillsborough, <br />North Carolina, the regular place of meeting, at 7:30 P -M-, <br />on August 18, 1976- <br />Present: Chairman Flora R. Garrett, presi.di.ng, and <br />Commissioners Richard Whi.tted, Jan Martin Pinney, and Norman <br />Gu.staveson <br />Absent: Norman 'Walker <br />~ ~ * a~ a~ <br />f <br />The Chairman announced that this was the hour and day <br />fixed.by the Board of Commissioners for the public hearing <br />upan the order entitled: "ORAER AUTHORIZING ~6,000,ODO <br />SCHDOL BONDS" and that the Hoard of Commissioners would <br />immediately hear anyone who might wish to be heard on the <br />question of the validity of said order or the advisability <br />of issuing said bonds. <br />No one appeared, either in person or by attorney, to be <br />heard on the question of the validity of said-order or the. <br />advisability of issuing bands and the Clerk of the Board of <br />Commissioners and Register of Deeds announced that no <br />vrritten statement relating to said questions had been <br />rece5.ved. <br />
