<br />2 <br />Ejland Cheeks Community School Park ~ . <br />3. On Mazch 16, the Board of County Commissioners awarded a bid and approved a contract for the <br />construction of the Efland Cheeks Community School Park. The final bids totaled $100,000 more <br />than the capital project ordinance. The Board of County Commissioners appropriated $50,000 from <br />the 1997 Pazk Bond proceeds and $50,000 from the County Capital Fund Balance. This amendment <br />allows for the appropriation of these funds (see column #3 of the attached budget amendment and the <br />Efland Cheeks Community School Park Capital Project). <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Action on this agenda item will amend the County's annual budget ordinance <br />and one existing capital project ordinance. It will also create one new grant project ordinance, which will <br />be administered through the County's Grant Projects Fund. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Boazd of Commissioners approve the <br />attached budget amendment, grant project ordinance, and capital project ordinance as presented. <br />
