An important part of their program has been <br />the elected officials' willingness to sign a proclamation in support of Drinking Water Week. <br />Last year, Commissioner Brown asked that this proclamation acknowledge the contributions <br />of water utility employees from the Town of Hillsborough, the Orange-Alamance Water <br />System, Graham-Mebane Water System and Orange County. This proclamation has been <br />revised to honor this request. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE <br />RECOMMENDATON(S): Proclaim the week of May 2-8 as Drinking Water Week in Orange <br />County and authorize the Chair to sign the proclamation on behalf of the Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />
