101 <br />SCHEDULE C • <br />NORTH CAROLINA'S <br />2007 RECREATIONAL TRAILS PROGRAM <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW REQUIREMENTS <br />To complete your RTP application and become eligible for funding, you must submit the <br />following documents with your 2007 Recreational Trails Program application. <br />X A topographic map <br />X A site map <br />X A project description sheet <br />1. A topographic map <br />Provide a copy of the 1:24,000 United States Geological Service (USGS) topographic map (or <br />map portions, clearly marked with USGS quad name), which shows your complete project site. <br />Indicate the project boundaries cleazly on both maps. <br />2. A site map <br />Provide one copy of a site map of the project itself. The map must have a scale and a north • <br />arrow, and the route of the proposed trail or location of the trail facilities must be cleazly <br />indicated. If the project involves a combination of new trail construction and trail <br />maintenance/restoration, the locations of these two activities must be cleazly mazked along the <br />length of the trail on the site plan. <br />3. A project description sheet <br />The attached description sheet will be used to assess the impacts of your project on cultural and <br />natural resources--its accurate completion cannot be overemphasized. If it is not completed, your <br />application will not be considered for funding. <br />Schedule C -Information <br />
