448 <br />3. Trice Road Recommend that this road not be added to the <br />State System. <br />4. Whitley Read Recommend that this road not be added to the <br />State System. <br />Commissioner Whitted moved that the Commissioners endorse the <br />addition of Dumont Drive as being added to the State System. This <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson. The Chairman called <br />for the vote on the motion, and all members of the Board voted aye. <br />The motion was declared passed. <br />Commissioner Whitted inquired as to why the other roads were not <br />being placed on the State System? <br />The Board agreed to wait until they had received copies of the <br />new Secondary Road policy before taking action on the other roads <br />listed on the Agenda. <br />Chairman Garnett referred to Item IV: Preliminary Plat. <br />1. Nettie Bynum - This plat proposes the division of a 8 acre <br />tract in Chapel Hill Township into five parcels. Access will be <br />gained through the construction of a private road off ST #1941. <br />Discussion ensued. Mr. Edwards informed the .Board that two of the <br />one acre lots would be on the University Lake Watershed. <br />Commissioner Garrett stated that she felt problems would be <br />created because of the unpaved roads in the area and the dead-end road. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Walker, seconded by Commissioner Whitted, <br />it was moved that the plat of Nettie Bynum be approved. <br />The Chairman called for the vote. Voting aye were Commissioners <br />Walker and Whitted. Voting Nay were Commissioners Garrett, Gustaveson, <br />and Pinney. The Chairman declared the motion defeated. <br />2. Willie and Ruby Wilson - This plat proposes the division of <br />a four acre tract in Eno Township into three lots. Access will be <br />gained through a sixty foot easement to Craig Road. Mr. Edwards in- <br />formed the Board that the existing driveway did not co~ncid~ with the <br />proposed right of way. <br />Upon motion of commissioner Walker, seconded by Commissioner Whitted, <br />it was moved and adopted to approve the Willie and Ruby Wilson plat on <br />the condition that the road be upgraded. <br />Members of the Board voting aye on this motion were Commissioners <br />Gustaveson, Pinney, Whitted and Walker. <br />Commissioner Garrett voted nay. The motion was declared passed. <br />3. Henry Trice - This plat proposes the division of a nineteen <br />acre tract into three parcels of four, five and ten acres each. Access <br />will be gained through a private road terminating in Mt. Sinai Road. <br />Mr. Edwards stated that access would be changed to modify a right of <br />way through the l0 acre lot, and that the final plat would have the <br />change in right of way. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Whitted, seconded by Commissioner <br />Gustaveson, it was moved and unanimously adopted to sent this preliminary <br />plat back to the Planning Board and that the right of way be indicated <br />on the preliminary plat. - <br />4. Final Plat of Margaret Hazard - This plat proposes the sub- <br />division of a five acre lot in Mt. Marian Estates into four acre and <br />one acre parcels. Both parcels will front on SR #1794. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pinney,. seconded by Commissioner Whitted, <br />it was moved and adopted to approve the final plat of Margaret Hazard. <br />5. Final Plat of Kelly Adams - This plat proposes the subdivision <br />of a one acre lot from a five acre parcel. Access to the property will <br />be gained through a twenty foot easement extending to SR #1944. The <br />width of this easement cannot be increased because of the location of a <br />house. <br />
