SUB-AREA CLEANUP & TERMITE TREATMENT <br />1. Chemically treat entire perimeter of house for termite and pest control. <br />Chemical treatment to be done by a licensed termite or pest control <br />company. Contractor to provide owner with written proof and warranty of <br />treatment. <br />2. Level-off soil to fill low areas. Supply and install 6 mil plastic vapor <br />barrier to entire sub-area of house so as to provide moisture protection. ' <br />B. FOUNDATION <br />1. Supply and install one new galvanized culvert-style protector for existing <br />right side foundation vent, complete. Re-secure one existing culvert-style <br />protector over existing foundation vent to restore to proper working order. <br />. S <br />C. ROOF & GUTTER <br />1. Remove existing composition shingle roof cover to sheathing from house, <br />dormer and storage room. Remove two existing attic turbine vents for <br />reinstallation at same locations. Remove approximately 41.f. of damaged <br />rake trim on dormer, and replace with new wood trim primed with oil-base <br />primer. Remove approximately 8 l.f. of fascia on right front of house and <br />replace with new wood fascia primed with oil-based primer. Replace <br />approximately 40 l.f. of damaged 1x6 sheathing on storage room roof. <br />NOTE: After existing roof cover is removed, if further damage is <br />discovered the Owner, Contractor and Rehabilitation Specialist will meet <br />to review the work, determine a course of action and, if necessary, a cost <br />for any additional work. Replace flashing including all chimney <br />flashing, metal nosing, vent boots, metal drip edge, etc.. All vents, <br />flashing, and other metal surfaces to blend with color of roof. Reinstall <br />two existing attic turbine vents at same locations. Seal all penetrations <br />through roof with waterproof material, including supply and install new <br />counter-flashing on chimney. Supply and install new 25 year {minimum) <br />composition shingle roof cover over 15# felt on house, complete. Supply <br />and install new rubber roofing on storage room, including proper <br />• <br />
