Existing <br />I-iVAC unit and duct to remain intact, new girder to stop adjacent to each <br />side of existing HVAC unit. Price indicated does not include interior and <br />exterior cosmetic repairs, patching cracks, painting, adjusting doors and <br />windows, repair of siding, plumbing or electrical. AlI work to code. <br />3. Supply and install treated wood shim material to stabilize the connection <br />between one existing pier and the rear center wood girder. Supply and <br />install two additional treated wood 2" X 8"s, one on front and one on <br />back, "sistered" onto existing rear center girder to stabilize existing splice. <br />Includes 2 X 8 filler installed in splice gap. New 2X8's to be installed <br />with appropriate screws and extend to centerline of each pier supporting <br />this span. <br />• <br /> <br />4. Remove existing small access panel on rear foundation wall. Remove <br />existing loose brick at bottom of opening and prepare area for installation <br />of new brick. Supply and install two course of new brick set in concrete at <br />same location, to match existing as close as possible. Supply and install <br />new framing of 2X treated wood and new access panel framed and braced <br />with 2 x 4 treated lumber and g/e" plywood face, galvanized metal hinges, <br />locking hasp and lock complete. <br />C. ROOF & GU'I"TER <br />1. Remove existing composition shingle roof cover to sheathing. Does not <br />include rake trim, fascia and soffit (See Lead Remediation Specs). NOTE: <br />After existing roof cover is removed, if further damage is discovered the <br />Owner, Contractor and Rehabilitation Specialist will meet to review the <br />work, determine a course of action and, if necessary, a cast for any <br />additional work. Replace flashing, roof jacks, metal nosing, plumbing <br />boots, metal drip edge, counter flashing on chimney, water heater vent, <br />etc.. Repair parge coat on existing chimney. All metal edge flashing, <br />nosing and drip edge to be pre-finished white material. Supply and install <br />new 25 year (minimum) composition shingle roof cover over 15# felt, <br />complete. Includes shingle-type ridge ventilation system. Seal all <br />4s <br />
