SUB-AREA CLEANUP & TERMITE REPORTfTREATMENT <br />Page 2 of 11 <br />1. Remove debris from crawlspace to a size small enough to rake. Level-off <br />soil to fill low areas. Supply and install 6 mil plastic vapor bamer <br />throughout entire sub-area of house to provide moisture protection. <br />Plastic to be installed as last work item of the project. <br />2. Chemically treat entire perimeter of house for termite and pest control. <br />Chemical treatment to be done by a licensed termite or pest control <br />company. Contractor to provide owner with written proof and warranty of <br />treatment. <br />B. FOUNDATION <br />1. Remove loose brick. and other materials from existing foundation vent <br />locations in left, right and rear foundation walls. Supply and install new <br />mortaz and brick to fill exposed void at approximately 17 locations, <br />complete. Include repointing cracks in existing mortaz in front left corner <br />and right rear corner of foundation wall. For the approximately 10 <br />remaining locations, remove existing brick to accommodate installation of <br />new metal automatic foundation vents. Supply and instaII approximately <br />10 metal automatic foundation vents, properly secured, complete. New <br />materials to match existing as close as practical. <br />2.: Excavate soil in crawlspace at nine new locations along rear foundation . <br />wall to accommodate installation of new concrete 24" x 24" x 12" footings <br />and 16" x 16" concrete block columns to support new girder within <br />approximately 18" of rear faundation wall. Excess soil from excavation to <br />be spread evenly throughout crawlspace. Supply and install new 24" x <br />24" x 12" concrete footings and new 16" x 1G" concrete block columns <br />integrated with new concrete footings at these locations, including <br />structural connections to new girder, complete. Any wood blocking to be <br />treated material. Supply and install new triple 2" x 8" x approximately 38_ <br />l.f. treated wood girder to stabilize existing Moor, including structural <br />connections to existing floor framing, complete.
