All work to be done in <br />accordance with the Limited Mold Inspection conducted by Carolina Environmental, <br />Inc. and dated August 24, 2006. <br />I. WOIZKSITE PREPARATION <br />A. CONTAINMENT <br />Before construction, supply and install containment barriers for the <br />Bathroom, Kitchen and crawlspace using one layer of 6-mil <br />polyethylene securely attached with furring strips. Crawlspace <br />containment barrier shall accommodate negative pressure during the <br />course of crawlspace remediation work. Post proper signage in the <br />work area. All warning signs must remain posted until cleazance is <br />passed. <br />2. During the period of remediation work, supply and install air <br />- scrubbers intermittently throughout the house to help cleanse the air <br />and reduce airborne spore concentrations. Continue to scrub the air <br />for forty-eight {4$) hours after the remediation work is complete. <br />B. CLEANING <br />1. Clean the interior of the -unit in all areas that mold was disturbed and <br />prepare the unit for post-remediation verification inspection. HEPA <br />vacuum all horizontal surfaces, to include all floors, windowsills, <br />troughs, baseboards and casing. Bag or otherwise containerize {poly- <br />wrap) mold-contaminated debris for disposal offsite. <br />.~-. <br />C. POST-REMEDIATION EXAMINATION <br />1. After completion of all work that disturbed mold and any other mold <br />remediation activities, a qualified person shall perform apost- <br />remediation verification examination. Work disturbing mold- <br />contaminated areas is not considered complete until post-remediation <br />verification examination is complete. <br />• <br />
